- Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract Action: The Alaska District Corps of Engineers intends to negotiate a sole source supplemental agreement with Osborne Construction Company for the removal action of trees, pipe, rebar, abandoned conc rete foundations, wellheads and other miscellaneous material in the Glass Park neighborhood area of Fort Wainwright, Alaska under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will sa tisfy agency requirements. This announcement is for informational purposes only. No solicitation is available. Osborne Construction Company currently has a contract to design and construct 200 three and five-bedroom family housing units in the Glass Par k neighborhood of Fort Wainwright. During site clearing within the project limits, other abandoned materials were noted immediately adjacent to the project site which need to be removed to ensure the safety of the future housing occupants. This notice is applicable to NAICS code 236115. This is NOT a request for competitive proposals or quotations however all responses received within 15 calendar days of the date of this publication will be considered by the Government. Information received will normall y be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to compete the requirement. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
