- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to award on a sole source basis to Wilco Marsh Buggies and Draglines, Inc. The requirement is for the lease of one (1) Caterpillar Amphibious 60 foot reach excavator with operators and full maintenance for fifty (50) work days total. The work is required to begin on or about 1 October 2007 (or sooner). This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Competitive Proposals. No contract award will be made on the bases of this notice. This no tice does not constitute a solicitation document and request for such documents will not be considered. However, all information received within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered SOLELY for the purpose of determinin g whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. The NAICS code is 238910, with a size standard of $13 million.
