- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and quotes are being requested. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-17. The associated NAICS code is 541519. Vendor to provide comprehensive Information Technology Consulting and Support Services for the CIS PC based Local Area Network, to include; Routine Maintenance, Upgrades, Helpdesk Support, PC Repair, End User Training and Emergency Response. SCOPE OF SERVICES Network Support - Vendor will support the CIS network during the school year by providing: 1. Off-campus Helpdesk for CIS Technology Coordinator to report problems or request assistance by e-mail, or phone between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Take requests for service, prioritize calls, provide phone support, and provide remote network support when possible. 2. On-campus technician (Scheduled Maintenance) to fulfill service requests from the helpdesk, perform routine system maintenance and network administration on a scheduled basis, while school is in session as needed. Estimated 20 hours a week. 3. Network engineer to provide routine escalation support as needed. 4. Network engineer to provide on-campus maintenance and emergency support (7x24) of mission critical components as needed. Respond to initial call within 30 minutes. 5. Vendor must respond to all non-emergency service requests within 2 working days of the initial request. 6. Vendor must provide technical staffs that are certified/trained and experienced with the following equipment and technology used by CIS: Novell Groupwise 5.5; Microsoft NT/2000; Workstation/Server; Microsoft 2000/XP; Microsoft Office XP/2007; Norton Anti Virus; Mcafee Anti Virus; Dell PC's/Servers; Intel PC's; and Switches Cisco Routers and Switches. 960 hours. Provide hourly rate, inclusive of all fees, taxes, travel, labor, and costs. The clauses 1452.226-70 ?Indian Preference?, 52.212-01, 52.212-04, and 52.213-02 are incorporated by reference. The FAR clause 52.212-05 applies to this acquisition and the following additional FAR clauses cited in this clause are applicable: (5) 52.219-6, (14) 52.222-3, (15) 52.222-19, (17) 52.222-26, (32) 52.232-34, (34) 52.239-1 and (c)(1) 52.222-41. U.S. DOL Wage Determination No : 2005-2441, Rev 4, dated 06/20/07 is applicable. Offerors must submit a completed copy of the provision of 52.212-03 with its offer. A copy can be obtained at www.arnet.gov. Evaluation procedures: The Government shall award a firm-fixed price purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1. Price: Provide hourly rate. 2. Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement: Provide a short narrative of services to be performed. 3. Past Performance: Provide three references where similar requirements of this solicitation have been performed. Technical and past performance, when combined, are equal to price.
