- N00164-07-R-6424- Retention Segment Jacking Screws ? FSG 19-NAICS 332722 Issue Date ? 27 Sept 2007-Closing Date ?29 Oct 2007 This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO)site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. The Government will procure 6400 Jacking Screws to use in the retention segments on the SSGN Platform IAW Drawing #7124803. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. Shipment shall be FOB destination NSWC, Crane Division, William Riggs, Code 6042, Bldg 3395, 300 Hwy 361, Crane, IN 47562. Inspection/acceptance shall be at origin. This procurement is not for a commercial item and FAR Part 12 procedures will not be used. See note 26. The applicable NAICS Classification is 332722 and the size standard is 500. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 09/27/07 and expected to close on or about 10/29/07. The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract on a sole-source basis with SPS Technologies, Ltd., Jenkintown, PA, based on FAR 6.302-1, only one source capable of meeting the Government?s requirements. See note 22. All responsible parties may submit an offer.
