Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFQ number is H92242-07 T-0603. This solicitation documents incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through FAC 2005-14, dated 22 November 2006 and DFARS Change Notice 20050930. The DPAS Rating for this solicitation is S1. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The NAICS code is 541611, the Size Standard is $6.5. The Naval Special Warfare Group Four requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing basic maintenance of Training Tank located at Special Boat Team 22, Stennis Space Center, MS. 39529. Item 0001 provide service at the Training Tank is required: Cleaning of the olympic size swimming pool (130? Long x 50? wide, approximately 500,000 gal), maintaining the filtration system, overseeing repairs, procuring necessary chemicals, constantly researching chemical prices to maintain the lowest prices for the Government, maintaining proper Chlorine level, Ph levels, Total alkalinity, and 80 degrees year round temperature, coordinating with the Government Facilities Manager on all items requiring repair, water testing, which includes the discharge to remain within tolerable limits of D.E.Q. and E.P.A. using a certified Lab for discharge testing of waste water, make recommendations for improvement of aquatics facility, and general consulting. Item 0002 Provide individual prices on the following chemicals: (1) Sodium Hypochlorite/GAL, (2) Carbon Dioxide/600 lb can, (3) Muratic Acid/Gal, (4) Clear Blue Polymer/EA, Miscellaneous suggested possible requirements. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the possible Vendor whose offer conforms to the solicitation and will be the most advantageous to the Government.
