Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Navigation Systems Program Office, PMA/PMW-170 is seeking industry feedback on a draft solicitation for the Conformal Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna (C-CRPA) to be employed on F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G aircraft. This requirement will be a full and open competition identified under NAICS code 334220. At this phase of the procurement, the Government reserves the right to change the quantity or any other terms and conditions being procured. We solicit your comments and ideas to help make this a more effective process and produce better documents. You are encouraged to evaluate and challenge all elements of the draft solicitation. Comments on the DRAFT solicitation are voluntary. All questions and their answers will be posted under the Questions and Answers link at the website below. Incorporation of comments into any future document will be at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The DRAFT solicitation can be found at the following website: http://www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations. Questions and/or comments must be submitted in writing via email to Mary.Carter@navy.mil NLT 14 June 2006. Offers are not being solicited at this time and the anticipated solicitation has not been finalized and has not been released. This posting should in no way be interpreted as the official release of the solicitation. Award will not be made as a result of this draft solicitation. The Government anticipates releasing the final, official solicitation in FY06 with an anticipated award in the first or second quarter of FY07. Funds have not been identified for this effort. When and if a final, official solicitation is issued, a formal announcement will be made in FedBizOpps.
