- Description
- The VA Montana Healthcare System, Fort Harrison, Montana intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) procurement for delivered dairy products to the VA Montana Healthcare System Medical Center, Fort Harrison, MT. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 311511 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, Section 8127, preference will be given to small businesses owned by veterans with service-connected disabilities, businesses owned by veterans, businesses participating in section 8(a) of the Small Business Act and other small businesses, in that order. The offeror will certify that their company has received, prior to opening of bids, a pasteurized milk rating of 90% or more for the type of products they propose which will be in accordance with specifications as found in Federal and State regulations. The Contractor shall provide certification that plant inspection has taken place within the past three months by either the State or Federal Agencies.
