- THIS SYNOPSIS IS BEING AMENDED TO ADD THE FOLLOWING FMS QUANTITY. 12 EACH, FMS DELIVERY. THIS 120 EACH FOR FMS DELIVERY IS IN ADDITION TO THE AIR FORCE REQUIREMENT DESCRIBED BELOW. A fixed quantity, firm-fixed price contract is contemplated for NSN 5340-01-412-8477NZ P/N: 4071804, mounting bracket, Location Tinker AFB, Item 0001 The solicitation will be for 10,711 each, Size: width 4.460?, length 1.450?, height 0.570?, weight 0.25 lbs.. Function: protects the divergent segment from the bridge clamps during augmentatinon, mad of Inconel 318. . Applicable to: F100/229 Engine. Destn: TINKER AFB requirement : 10,711 EA Dec 2007. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 12 Feb 07 . The anticipated award date will be 30 April, 2007. Qualification information can be obtained from OC-ALC/BC, Attention: Source Development Office, 3001 Staff Drive Suite 1AG85A, Tinker AFB OK 73145-3009 (405) 739-7243 or (405) 739-7244. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. This requirement is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. To: Birken Mfg Co, and Whitcraft Corp,. Responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Potential offerors can obtain a copy of the solicitation from this FEDBIZOPS web site as soon as the Government has issued and posted the solicitation. To obtain required technical data, potential offerors must use TEDS at https://fedteds.gov/. Please note that the Government is not required to delay contract award in order to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. All proposals must be received no later than 4:00 PM Central Time on 12 March 2007. The award date is estimated to be on or about 30 Apr 2007. See Government-Wide Numbered Notes 8, 23 and 26. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
