- The purpose of this amendment is to post the questions and answers to the site visit. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.***************************************************************************** SOUTH GATE, QUESTION 1: Will prints be available for the layout to better assist with system design? RESPONSE 1: Prints aren't available. QUESTION 2: For the camera being mounted on the outside lane, will it be acceptable to cut the canvas to mount the camera on the structure or will a new structure need to be supplied for the camera installation? RESPONSE 2: We have no problem with mounting cameras on the existing structure, with a few exceptions. Contractor will need to verify that it is structurally sound, and there can be no holes left in the canvas that will allow rain, snow, etc to enter. Recommend not cutting the canvas. QUESTION 3: Will any additional viewing stations be requested? If yes will Bolling AFB provide communication medium? RESPONSE 3: No further viewing stations are required than the ones already provided. ARNOLD GATE, QUESTION 1: Will prints be available for the layout to better assist with system design? RESPONSE 1: Yes, after contract award. QUESTION 2: Will the overhead camera be allowed to be mounted on the column? RESPONSE 2: Response not available. GENERAL QUESTIONS , QUESTION 1: Will any permits be required? RESPONSE 1: Dig permit required. Others may be required. QUESTION 2: Who will provide utility markings prior to excavation? RESPONSE 2: The contractor will need to coordinate with civil engineering regarding utility markings. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (10-SEP-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
