Description

The United States Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), is seeking applications from qualified individuals interested in providing services as a USPSC/TCN Senior Health Technical Advisor for the PHN Office in Kigali, Rwanda. The incumbent shall lead the PHN Office?s Health Team with it?s annual OYB of approximately $10 million, have overall responsibility for providing strong technical leadership, and coordinate the planning, managing, and reporting on all non-PEPFAR health activities for the PHN office. The incumbent will work closely with other teams in the PHN Office and USAID, the US Embassy, other USG partners, MINISANTE, and other national and international partners. The incumbent is expected to: provide technical leadership in health issues, with a focus on FP and MCH; guide the design, implementation, and monitoring of project activities in these programmatic areas; and supervise the staff of the Health team within the PHN Office. The incumbent shall also be responsible for technical oversight of core-funded activities taking place in Rwanda, such as the Safe Birth Africa Initiative, the Repositioning Family Planning Initiative, and the Child Survival and Health Grant.
