Description
White House Communications Agency intends to purchase Arrestall Shaker Unit Model AR2-7-5 manufactured by American Air Filter, brand name or equal, see Statement of Work for more details. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS 333411. If the small business set-aside is dissolved for full and open competition, this solicitation will not be reposted to EPS. Statement of Work Dust Collection System Replacement White House Communications Agency Bldg. 399, Anacostia Annex, DC 20373 31 July 2007 1. Introduction a. This statement of work (SOW) covers the replacement of the Carpenter Shop dust collection system. 2. Scope of Work a. The contractor/technician will remove the existing duct system and dust collector from their current location to make room for the new system. Removed items will be placed within 50 feet of their current location for disposal by others. The contractor will design, supply and install a duct system per the latest Industrial Ventilation Standards as presented by the American Conference of Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) 25th edition. 3. Specific Tasks a. The technician will design, supply, and install a duct system per the latest Industrial Ventilation Standards as presented by the American Conference of Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) 25th edition. All ducts are to be galvanized heavy duty steel of the rolled end quick-fit type with stainless steel, cam-lock, and forever KELSO clamps. 4. Requirements/Performance Standards a. The contractor shall provide personnel who are US citizens and are sensitive to the requirements of working in a secure location. i. The contractor shall provide the customer with the employee?s information necessary to gain entrance into the facility. This information should be given to the customer no later than one week prior to the start date. ii. The contracted employee must receive authorization to bring any electronic devices into the Agency?s compound. Such devices include, but are not limited too, laptop computers or other electronic devices necessary to the completion of the contract. No cell phones, recording devices, or cameras are allowed within the compound. iii. The contracted employee will not depart the facility with any information classified as sensitive materials. b. The contractor shall ensure all materials described as those belonging to the contractor that are brought into the work area will be removed at the time of completion. c. The place of performance is: White House Communications Agency, Building 399, Anacostia Annex, DC 20373, rooms 106 and 106a. d. The period of performance is effective on the scheduled dates of work, from _TBD____ to __TBD_________. i. Contractor shall perform no more than eight hours of work per day during the period defined above; total number of hours will not exceed 40 as listed in the contractual agreement. ii. If overtime hours are needed, the hours must be approved before overtime work is commenced. iii. The contracted employee?s travel time is considered to be part of the 40 hours allotted to the customer. 5. Quality Assurance/Quality Control a. The customer, as defined above, will be the final authority in determining if the dust collection system is satisfactory. b. The customer, as defined above, reserves the right to complete an operational test of the dust collection system prior to the departure of the contracted employee. 6. Other Pertinent Information a. The contracted employee shall provide all tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and other items or services necessary to fulfill the requirements of this SOW. SUBJECT: Minimal Requirements for Carpenter Shop Dust Collection System 1. Local installation and assembly crew. 2. Dust collection system that will handle 3000 cfm @ 10? w.g. 3. Two barrel system that will fit on existing concrete pad. 4. System compatible with existing 15? main duct (Arrestall). 5. System that meets the current Industrial Ventilation Standards as presented by the American Conference of Industrial Hygienists 25th edition. 6. All duct work is to be galvanized heavy duty steel of the rolled end quick-fixed type with stainless steel. 7. Anti-static duct work (grounded duct). 7.
