- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and FAR incorporated clauses/provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement DCN 20070828. This solicitation incorporates by reference the following FAR and DFAR clauses: 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-04, 52.212-05, 252-212-7001, 252.232-7003, 252.232-7010 and AF 5352.201-3101. The NAIC Code is 334310. This is a brand name requirement in accordance with authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(c). This requirement is to provide Video Wall and Installation in Building 646, Air Force Institute of Technology. The contractor should provide a solution to provide, install and configure a 70? Barco Video Wall associated equipment in a distance learning classroom room 121 with video cables leading to the control room in room 122. The distance learning classroom is located in building 646, 2950 Hobson Way, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Dedicated projector PC?s, monitors, and other computing peripheral devices will be customer furnished for installation. All other equipment will be furnished by the contractor. Equipment requirements are as follows: One Barco Overview fDR+70-DL Projection module (SXGA+, 120W lamp); Wall structure height of 50.7 inches; DVI-I cables; VGA connectors if necessary. Note: Building drawings available upon request. Prospective proposals must meet the following objectives: Install video components: (a) Provide and install video screen to 50.7? wall structure. (b) Provide and install all required cabling, connectors, and associated hardware, etc.; Mounting equipment components: (a) All wiring must be routed inside walls, and ceiling where possible, if not, wiring must be concealed inside non-metallic surface raceways. (b) All work must be accomplished with completeness and in accordance with generally accepted installation practices for audiovisual contractors; Final system testing and documentation: (a) Contractor is responsible for performing a final operational check and training on the entire system before acceptance by customer or authorized representative. (b) Contractor will provide system drawings, final documentation and operational manuals for all equipment not customer furnished; Warranty ? (a) All equipment specified will be new in condition. Used or refurbished equipment is prohibited. (b) Contractor will provide a written guarantee of warranty on all equipment (not customer furnished), components, parts and labor Warranty to begin on the date of completed installation. Any deviation from these requirements must be approved by an authorized government representative. FOB Destination. Net 30 Payment Terms. The Government will award an order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government.
