- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Directorate of Contracting is contemplating the procurement of: MultiMedia System 001 - Qty = (4) LCD Video Projector with the following minimums: 3000 lumen brightness, 1024x768 resolution (1600x1200 compressed), Image contact ratio = 2100:1, Analog format = NTSC, Secom, NTSC 4.43. Analog signal = RGB. Input/interfaces to include: 2 x VGA input - 15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15) ? 1 x VGA output - 15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15) ? 1 x composite video input - RCA ? 1 x S-video input - 4 pin mini-DIN ? 1 x component video input - RCA x 3 ? 1 x audio line-in - mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm ? 1 x serial RS-232 - 8 pin mini-DIN ( management ) ? 1 x DVI-D input - 24 pin digital DVI ? 1 x audio line-in - RCA x 2 ? 1 x audio line-out - mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm ? 1 x USB - 4 pin USB Type A ? 1 x network - RJ-45. Example NEC LT380. 002 - Qty = (2) Motorized Ceiling-recessed, suspension mount, tab-tensioned front projection screen. To Include ontrol options, this electric screen to have option of being operated from any remote location. Brand Name or Equal to Elmo #P-30. 007 - Qty = (4) DVD+VHS Recorder with Versatile Compatible Formats will have ATSC Digital/NTSC Analog Tuners and HDMI Output with 1080i/720p Up-Conversion (DVD/VHS). Example JVC Part# : DRMV99B. Up-Conversion. Records on DVD?R and DVD?RW Discs 008 - Qty = (2) Wireless microphone system. To include Lapel Microphone, transmitter and receiver. Must interface and be compatible with MultiMedia system and sound system for this award. Brand name or equal to DA-LITE Providence in figured mahogany. 010 - Qty = (4) IBM PC Compatible tower case computers to include: Windows XP Professional, DVD/DVDr + CDR/w, minimum 500g hard drive, 17in lcd flat panel monitor, minimum 2g RAM, 768MB NVIDIA? GeForce? 8800 GTX graphics card w/ 3d and 8mg - SLI enabled, Integrate d 7.1 Intel High Definition Audio card, Wireless mouse, wireless keyboard. Example - Dell XPS 720. 011 Vendor is responsible for obtaining, transporting and/or shipping of all equipment necessary to complete the multimedia system to Dugway, Utah FOB Destination. There are two adjacent buildings, each has a larger room (approx 33ft x 40ft) and a small er room (approx 20ft x 16ft) with 9ft ceilings. There are no windows in rooms. Vendor will install wires, connectors, speakers and test for functionality all MultiMedia product included with the accepted bid proposal. Vendor will configure all hardware an d software systems to point of full operation as a Multimedia System. The selected bidder will complete cabling and setup of 4 previously purchased monitors. 2 previously purchased 42 inch plasma tv's will be mounted in the 2 large classrooms on the side w alls using swing arm mounts. Swing arm mounts to be provided by the Selected Bidder. 2 previously purchased 50 inch plasma tv's to be installed in the small classrooms on the front walls adjacent to the electronic smart boards (gov't has wall mount kits). Selected bidder will install, configure and assure functionality of the matrix control devices to input all video and audio equipment in the selected bidders' proposal and output it to all monitors and display devices in the selected proposal. VTC equipmen t wil be installed by selected bidder and its functionality outlined in the bid proposal to ensure intended setup is acceptable. The VTC equipment is to be installed in the 2 small classrooms. ISDN accessable wall plates will be available from gov't but w / NT1 and IP interfaces required from vendor. Gov't to retain All material, user manuals, remote controls, access keys, software code, cables, plugs, adapters, warranties that are included w/ the items in this award. 012 - Vendor will provide on-site training for this multimedia system award. Vendor will train and demonstrate to gov't employees the capabilities of each item in the multimedia systems and the interaction between all items on award. Minimum of 1 Day Train ing. 013 - Personnel reporting in accordance with the Department of the Army Personnel Reporting System requirements incorporated by full text within clause section of this award. 014 Qty (4) Presentation Overlay Board. Unit will write over slides in digital script, save notes, access any website or multimedia file and project image onto system display devices and is compatibale with the MultiMedia Presentation System that Vendor is configuring, installing and Training on for this Award. Switch system must accommotdate all devices planned for this purchase plus an extra i/o port for expansion. Brand Name or Equal to GoWire Smart Board Software Auto-Launch Cable USB-GW. 52.237-1 - Site Visit (Apr 1984) Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is r easonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
