The ICCD camera system shall have an 18 mm diameter GEN-II fiber-coupled image intensifier with a photocathode that has 180 nm to 850 nm spectral response (similar to or exceeding the QE curve of the Andor Technologies 'W-AGT' curve available here http://www.andor.com/products/cameras/index.asp?app=208&product=DH740%2D18F%2D03&current_ tab=qe#tabs and a minimum peak quantum efficiency of 15%, with a P43 phosphor on the back end. 2. The ICCD camera system shall have a minimum 35 micron spatial resolution (FWHM) for the intensifier and CCD camera combo, and have at least a 1,000,000:1 contrast between the on-off states of the gate. 3. The ICCD camera system shall have a minimum temporal gating capability of 5 ns, and be triggerable from an external TTL level signal pulse, and provide a "fire" pulse for synchronization with external events, and have a minimum photocathode triggering rep rate of 50 kHz. 4. The ICCD camera system shall have a fiber optically coupled faceplate CCD sensor with pixel size ranging from 10 micron to 15 micron square pixels and a minimum of 1280 x 512 active pixels corresponding to an image size of at least 17.9 mm x 6.8 mm. 5. The ICCD camera system shall have thermo-electric cooling (TEC) to -30 C capability. 6. The ICCD camera system shall have an analog to digital converter (ADC) with at minimum, 16-bit resolution and a minimum 1 MHz sampling rate, with at most 40 photoelectron (pe-) counts readout noise. 7. The ICCD camera system shall have a Windows compatible software included that can control all aspects of the camera and permit time-resolved data acquisition. 8. The ICCD camera system shall have mechanical interfaces to permit mounting to the Andor Shamrock 303i OR the Acton SpectraPro SP2300 spectrographs AND Nikon F-mount lenses.
