- The Department of Defense Dependents Schools-Pacific/Department of Defense Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools-Guam (DoDDS-Pacific/DDESS-Guam) intends to issue on an Other than Full and Open Competition 100% Small Business Set-Aside basis, a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to procure the following musical instruments. The musical instruments shall consist of: (1) Marimba, 1 each; (2) Orchestra Bells, 1 each; (3) Xylophone, 1 each; (4) Chimes, 1 each; (5) Snare Drum, 1 each; and (6) a Deluxe Series Baritone Saxophone, 1 each on a brand name or equal basis. Delivery shall be F.O.B Origin to Tracy, California within 30 days from receipt of Purchase Order. Specific details shall be included in the Request for Quote (RFQ) Number HE1260-07-T-2012. Award of the RFQ will be based on the lowest price quote for supplies/services that meet the government?s requirements listed in the RFQ. The RFQ will be issued and posted in the Federal Business Opportunities website the same date as this pre-solicitation notification is posted. The RFQ will close on 21 September 2007. Anticipated award date is 27 September 2007. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR Part 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at: http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
