Description
COMBINE SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is PC-07-Q-028 and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This is a requirement for content and script development for a customized computer based training (CBT) course to enhance training of its overseas staff. Given the desired topics to be covered and the audience, it is estimated that course length will be between 4-6 hours. Part one of the course shall cover an abbreviated version of the Fundamentals of Government Contracting and Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Part two shall cover the ?how to? associated with the common products and services that are purchased overseas following the Peace Corps processes, procedures and policies. See Amendment 1 to this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for the full RFQ. The applicable NAICS code is 561410 and size standard is $6.5M. This is a 100% Small Business set aside. Numbered Noted 1 applies. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect at the time of publication. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) can be accessed on the Internet at http://www.arnet.gov/far. Clauses incorporated by reference are 52.212-1, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 with its addendums, 52.219-6, 52.222-3, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-13, 52.232-33, 52.233-3, 52.233-4. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. AN AMENDMENT TO THIS COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION WILL CONTAIN THE FULL RFQ WITH ADDITIONAL MATERIALS AND INSTRUCTIONS. QUOTES ARE DUE BY 18 SEPTEMBER 2007 TO GPALIN@PEACECORPS.GOV. Late quotes may not be accepted, based upon the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
