- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is amending Section L of the Screening Information Request (SIR), Request for Offer to extend the proposal due date to December 4, 2007. The requirement for design, integration and implementation support for the Security Systems Design and Integration (SSDI) contract in support of the Facility Security Risk Management (FSRM) Program remains. The base period of performance ends September 30, 2009 with three, two-year option periods. The contract will be awarded on a full and open competitive basis. The FAA will award a single contract resulting from this Screening Information Request (SIR). The extension of the proposal due date allows the FAA to conduct a concurrent survey of small business, respond to vendor questions, and amend the SIR. The Government anticipates an additional question and answer period after the amendment. Documents currently on the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS.gov) website will be updated on that site. Notice will be made on FAA Contract Opportunities when any SIR documents are changed. Vendors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registration site and FedTeDS in order to download SSI files. The Offeror's completed proposal must be submitted no later than 2:00 P.M. local time on December 4, 2007. INSTRUCTIONS FOR FEDTEDS: Vendors must use the following link to access the five (5) files on FedTeDS: https://www.fedteds.gov/fedteds/start.nsf/frm.vendorlogin?openform&SolicitationNumber=DTFAWA-07-R-00027 Prospective offerors are hereby on notice that any amendment(s) issued to this solicitation will be published at http://faaco.faa.gov/index.cfm under the current announcements for the FAA Headquarters. It is the Offerors' responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. All amendments to the SIR after the proposal due date, must be acknowledged. If an amendment is issued and the Offeror does not acknowledge it, the Offeror may be considered nonresponsive to the solicitation. The FAA will not be liable for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to the RFO, nor reimburse or otherwise pay any costs incurred by any party responding to this announcement. Written questions or comments should be submitted by email to Bill Willenbring at (bill.willenbring@faa.gov). Facsimile messages can be sent to (202) 267-8645.
