Description

This amendment # 0002 is issued in response to questions from the industry and changes the Following: ALSO SEE AMENDMENT #1 #1 - CLIN 0001 DESCRIPTION - CHANGE TO SPECIFICATION FROM: Foam mattress built with composite highly flame resistant virgin form core which features; (a) two core densities of 1.5 and 1.5 designed to maximize durability and resilience. Upholstery sewing is inside seam in the middle of both sides and on one end while the other end flap is neatly folded inward in the middle and double lock stitched. TO: Foam mattress built with composite virgin form core (without springs) which features; (a) one core density of between 1.5 and 1.6 designed to maximize durability and resilience. Requires the proposed Foam Mattress are in compliance with the Federal Standar d 1633 for flammability. #2 - CLIN 0001 - NOTICE OF SUITABLE ALTERNATIVE TO SPECIFICATION An acceptable alternative for upholstery sewing is a double chain stitch on 3 sides but the open end will be a French seam, which will have a double chain stitch. #3 - CLIN 0001 - NOTICE OF SUITABLE Alternative TO DELIVERY Partial shipments are acceptable ONLY with submittal of proposed delivery schedule for CLIN 0001. Please use the following format to propose alternative deliver schedule: Week 1 ______ Delivery Week 2 ______ Delivery Week 3 ______ Delivery Week 4 ______ Delivery #4 - BIDDER'S REQUIREMENT TO BE DECLARED RESPONSIVE Vendor MUST sign all amendments to this solicitation and ensure amendments are submitted PRIOR to response date and date in solicitation W9124C-07-B-0019.
