Description

Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Future Fibre Technologies Inc. located at 80 0 W El Camino Real STE 180, Mountain View California 94040-2586. This contract will be for the purchase of sensor replacement parts to an existing system at Yuma Proving Ground. The following items are for a Quantity of twenty (1) each: P/N # A064,A067,A079, A081,A084, A077, A087, A0088, A0082, A0083, A089, A073, A040, A041, A062, A046, carrying case for spares, Quantity of (36) each: P/N # P011. Quantity of twenty (2) each: P/N # A070, A030, A031, A051. Sole source is required since all parts must be fully interchangeable and compliant with the current Future Fibre Technology system. Replacement parts shall be 100% compatible with existing survei llance system. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requiremen ts or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to proceed with this sole source award, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Offerors who feel they can provide this product shall respond by 18 September 2007, 6:00AM MST. Email your response to Erik Reta at erik.reta@yuma.army.mil. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded inf ormation all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the model numbers listed above. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 5 days instead of 45 days.
