Description
This combined synopsis/solicitation requires the contractor to provide bus charter transportation services for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) located at 1300 W. Richey Avenue, Artesia, New Mexico. Approximately five (5) trips per week will be required. These trips may include transportation of students to and from the FLETC, Artesia, New Mexico to Airports such as Roswell, New Mexico; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and El Paso, TX to pick up/drop off students. Typical trips fall on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Contractors will be notified within 24 hours notice of the scheduled departures/pickups. Maximum number of students will be 50 per trip. Buses must be heated, cooled and provide restroom facilities onboard. Buses must be in good working condition and may not be more than 10 years old. Contractor shall be responsible for yearly renewal of vehicle registration and insurance. Contractor shall be responsible for all transportation expenses including fuel, maintenance, PMs, insurance, licensing, etc. Contractors are notified that they will be required to abide by Homeland Security SOP# Sec 004 which would require drivers to be subject to a background investigation. All of the above to be in accordance with Wage Determination No. 2005-2511 Rev. No. 4. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center intends to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement for the period of October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2009. Contractors are to provide round trip pricing for each Airport. Contractors are also to provide pricing for Year 1 (October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008) and Year 2 (October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009). Each offeror is required to enter into https://orca.bpn.gov its certifications and representation required by provision FAR 52.212-3 - Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. FAR Clauses 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 are applicable to this acquisition.
