- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) intends to make a sole source award to GE Homeland Protection, Inc., for maintenance and support services to maintain 12 Itemiser3 Drug Detection and Identification units and 3 VaporTracer2 Portable Narcotics Detector units that are located at various BOP institutions throughout the United States. The performance period will be from date of award through September 30, 2008. The solicitation will be available on or about September 17, 2007, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizopps.gov. The North American Industry Classification System code is 334519. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated receipt of quotes is September 21, 2007. The Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be posted along with the solicitation. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit quotes equally with other organizations for contract contracts for which they are eligible.
