- AN/TPS-78 RADAR TECHNICAL/REPAIR SUPPORT: Langley AFB, VA intends to negotiate a non-competitive, sole source, commercial purchase with Northrop Grumman to provide technical and repair services for the AN/TPS 3D Long Range Tactical Radar. This service includes: 1) Evaluation of failed assemblies; 2) Repair of failed assemblies; 3) Telephonic technical support; 4) Emergency on-site technical support; 5) Software/technical data operations/maintenance updates. This procurement is authorized in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). The proposed solicitation is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals via email to pamela.mitchell@langley.af.mil or karen.duncan@langley.af.mil. Telephone requests will not be honored. A determination by the government to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
