The Sole Source purchase will be for the following one (1) commercial item: MODEL: AGI LICENSING AGREEMENT Description: A licensing agreement with AGI to train Edwards AFB AFFTC personnel using the copyrighted AGI Theory of Constraints Project Management Technical Expert, and other training course material. Product Descriptions AGI is the original developer and the leading provider of Theory of Constraints (TOC) training programs. AGI offers training programs that support ongoing TOC implementations as well as training programs that support the general public. Programs that support TOC implementations are typically dedicated to and tailored expressly for each client organization. AGI also offers an extensive expert certification program aimed at determining an individual?s mastery of critical TOC concepts. AGI offers two-day training programs designed to introduce participants to various TOC concepts: Operations and Production, Project Management, and Market Demand-Pull? as well as a survey course highlighting all TOC Logistical Solutions. Within each of two major logistical application areas, Market Demand-Pull? and Project Management, AGI provides a series of two-week expert programs: Technical Expert, Deployment Expert, Master of Organizational Alignment, Master of TOC Thinking Processes, Master of Continual Improvement, Master Trainer and Master Mentor. AGI Certification Process The AGI Certification Process consists of examinations that have been carefully designed to test a candidate?s mastery of the technical concepts, processes, procedures, and command of the tools that are available to support the execution of their roles and responsibilities within their organization. That is, whether the candidate can demonstrate a command of the knowledge fundamental to performing effectively at their appointed role. Examinations consist of two parts: Part I of each examination contains primarily objective multiple choice questions addressing the relevant technical concepts, process & procedures, and tool proficiency. Part II requires a demonstration of Tool Proficiency ? testing a candidate?s comprehension of software tools and thought-ware tools. The examination thus tests the mastery of know-how which should be in the possession of anyone assigned to practice the subject role within an organization.
