Description

The 15th Contracting Squadron, Hickam AFB, HI intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Motorola Inc for commercial services to upgrade 440 Land Mobile Radios (LMR) with Over the Air Rekey (OTAR). Simplified Acquisition Procedures using PAR part 12, Acquisition for Commerical Items will be used for this requirement. These service must begin as soon as possible and will consist of upgrading 440 LMRs in accordance with attached statement of work. This is niether a request for quote or announcement of forthcoming solicitation. It is the 15th Contracting Squadron?s belief that Motorola Inc is the only qualified source to meet our needs. Interested sources that believe they can perform the services required may submit a capability statement to TSgt Angela Czumalowski, Contract Administrator, at Angela.Czumalowski@hickam.af.mil. Responses must be received by 1300, Hawaii Standard Time on 17 Sept 2007. The government will consider all responses but a determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely under the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisiton. If no viable responses are received by the due date, the Government will issue a purchase order to Motorola Inc. Attachments to this notice include (1) Statement of Work (SOW) and (2) Sole Source Justification and Approval.
