Description

Notice Of Intent To Award A Sole Source Contract The United States Army Contracting Agency  Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a sole-source award with Orbit Communications Systems, Inc., 15340 E. Valley Blvd, City of Industry, CA., 91746, purs uant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items per FAR 12 and FAR 13.5, subject to the availability of funds per FAR 52.232-18. The proposed contract action will be for the acquisition of four (4) each AL-362-1SYS 0.5 to 40 GHZ Spinning Antenna Assembly (SAA). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A RE QUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals within 7 days of synopsis publication to the Contracting Office POC listed below. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Governm ent.
