- The USPFO for Texas intends to award a sole source procurement to Telephonics Corporation 770 Park Avenue, Huntington, NY 11743. The award will be made for the purchase of an Aircraft Wireless Intercom system: Transceiver CF0056-M3; Transceiver CF0 056-M2; VIP Cable and Dual Lemo Channel Select Cable. This procurement is being made pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) 1 and FAR Part 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Telephonics is the only known source that has an Air Worthiness Release from AMCOM. All qualified sources must respond not later than 19 September 2007, 1100 hours CST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses should be emailed to Rick Gamez at rick.gamez@tx.ngb.army.mil. If you feel you have a product that may be acceptable, you must contact the Aviation Command, Engineering Directorate located in Huntsville, AL for approval and airworthiness certification.
