- Description
- The Office of Scientific Operations, National Cancer Institute-Frederick, National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health (NIH), is seeking an organization with the capabilities to operate the Scientific Library on the NCI-Frederick campus. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: 1) Cataloging of books; 2) Acquisition of books and journals to reflect the research currently being performed at NCI-Frederick; 3) Providing reference assistance and search services for NCI-Frederick staff; 4) Making the collection accessible to the end-users; and 5) Providing interlibrary loans to supplement the library holdings. The library is currently housed in Building 549 on the NCI-Frederick campus in Frederick, Maryland. The Government anticipates the award of a ten (10) year performance based cost-reimbursement contract by September 26, 2008. The applicable NAICS code is 519120 and the small business size standard is $6.5 million. This procurement is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The solicitation (RFP N02-CO-82403-96) will be available within 15-30 days after this synopsis is issued at the following address: http://rcb.cancer.gov/rcb-internet/index.html (please click on current RFPs to access). Only electronic copies of the solicitation are available. Any responsible Offeror may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Government.
