Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1B3R7230A001 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19 17 Aug 2007. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns and is under North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) code 423830 less than 100 employees. This item is an End of Year (EOY) Purchase, funding may or may not be made available for purchase. All quotes for this item will need to remain valid until October 1, 2007. Statement of Need is as follows: This is for a brand name or equal to a Genie lift GS-2032. CLIN 0001: Enclosed trailer with ground loading capability per specifications listed. Material Specifications: Must be equal or better than Triple L model EC-12 ?Capacity 6000lbs ? Interior Width 5? 10? ? Interior Length 10? 6? ? Interior height 7? ? Over all length 17? ? Trailer Weight 3750lbs ? Lift mechanism hydraulic ? Axle tandem ? Wheel size 15? ? Electric Brakes ? Hitch Ball size 2 5/16? ? Add a trickle charge on board 1.5 amp charger with indicator lights (if available) ? Include battery charger ? Standard safety features (safety chains, taillights, etc.) ? Lockable rear door ? Loading deck ? Automatic deck latch ? Powder coating. Trailer will be used to transport scissor lift, requiring trailer with ground level loading.
