Description

This is the second modification to the combined synopsis/solicitation, W9124Q-07-R-VAULTS1, for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Questions an d answers: Q. I understand that building housing vaults will not have high security doors, but why couldnt high security door and day gate issue door be put on exterior wall? Since no weather requirement, why not use floor space for secure storage instead of a vestibule? A. We had requirements to provide individual storage area for each company. The building that the armories are going into is an organizational storage warehouse for 4 companies. Each company will have its own storage area, within the bu ilding. Each area is physically separated. Each company storage area is accessed by a roll-up type door to facilitate easy access to the storage area and allow access to an armory. Floor space within each organizational area is not an issue, as it allow s plenty of room to store sensitive items other than weapons and ammunition. The changes are: This synopsis/solicitation has been extended and is due no later than 1700 hours, MST, September 14, 2007 and shall be submitted electronically to Ms. Bonnie Kern s at KERNSBJ@wsmr.army.mil.
