Description
The US Agency for International Development in Jakarta, Indonesia (USAID/Indonesia) invites submission of information from qualified architect and engineering firms who have the experience to provide design and construction supervision services (CMC) for the University of Syiah Kuala FKIP Teacher Training Facility Project. The required services will be conducted under the USAID/Indonesia Aceh Tsunami Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Program. This program is intended to provide assistance in rehabilitation, livelihood, and rebuilding of economic and social infrastructure in Aceh and North Sumatra provinces damaged by the December 26, 2004 Earthquake and Tsunami. This is a solicitation notice for the selection of an Architect-Engineer (A-E) firm that will design and provide CMC services for the construction of the University of Syiah Kuala FKIP Teacher Training Facility located in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 36.6. This is an open ?untied? procurement whereby Offerors and their subcontractors may be from any eligible Geographic Code 935 countries (Any area or country including Indonesia, but excluding the foreign policy restricted countries.). To be eligible a firm must perform design and engineering as a significant portion of its business; must be incorporated and certified to provide these services in the country of origin and have adequate past performance completing similar project and activities. Award of this contract is anticipated on/about November 16, 2007. The total value of the contemplated contract is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $1,600,000 and the contract period is expected to be no more than 2 years and 6 months. A cost-plus-fixed fee contract is contemplated for award subject to the availability of funds. Payment under this contract will be made in U.S. dollars.
