- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract for supplies or services to satisfy a Foreign Military Sales Requirement. This procurement is for 1 Each of an Amplifier-Filter AS, Generic NSN: 6625-01-504-3246RH, P/N: PD02LEEC83. The end item for this equipment is applicable to the C-130, C-140, C-141, F-15, F-16, F-4 aircrafts. Government owns Data (Purchase Description will be provided at issuance of the Solicitation). Form/Function: The amplifier system is designed for use in a laboratory environment to provide a filtered adjustable power level to calibrate wattmeter equipment. The amplifier system is broadband and accepts CW RF signal in the 10 to 500 MHz frequency range at an input level of 1 milliwatt (0 dBm) to provide an adjustable power output level of 10 to 200 watts linearly. The Amplifier-Filter system consists of a Filter Switching Unit Assembly, A1 and a Power Amplifier Assembly, A2. The A1 is a 19-inch rack-mountable chassis assembly located in the top portion of the system cabinet. The A2 is a self-contained 19-inch, rack-mountable chassis assembly located in the lower portion of the system cabinet. The A1 dimensions are: Height - 12.22 inches, Width ? 19.0 inches, Depth ? 26.00 inches, and Weight ? 90 pounds. The A2 dimensions are: Height ? 12.22 inches, Width ? 19.0 inches, Depth ? 26 inches, and Weight ? 110 pounds. The system cabinet dimensions are: Height ? 56.13 inches, Width ? 22.26 inches, Depth ? 31.50 inches, and Weight ? 170 pounds. The interconnect cable set for this system weighs 10 pounds. Total system weight is 380 pounds. Predominant Material of Manufacture: Electrical. SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED 15 DAYS FROM THIS NOTICE. Interested person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within the 15 days after issuance of solicitation, or 30 days after the publication date of this synopsis will be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serous contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
