- Sole Source Intent. The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Western Digital Video, 3271 So. Hi ghland Dr. Suite 708, Las Vegas, Nevada 89109. The requirement is for an upgrade to security system at U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), AZ 85365. The basis for this purchase is to ensure compatibility with existing equipment. The impact of not pur chasing this equipment will result in having to purchase a new system on a competitive basis, which would require a 1.2 million dollars duplication of cost. EC30C-5CLZ30P, Long range Thermal infrared Camera and Lens (1) ea. part number: LR-IRC550-180, replacement security camera (2) ea. part number: ES30CBW185W, replacement security camera (1) ea. part number: EX3012-5CLZ30P This action is solicited as unrestricted. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334290 with a standard size of 750 employees.
