- Description
- The project consists of maintenance dredging Rudee Inlet Entrance Channel (Station 37+03 to 41+00) and new work dredging of a Depositional Basin approximately 500 feet by 600 feet in the outer portion of the Entrance Channel. All work shall be perfor med by hydraulic dredge and pipeline. The Entrance Channel shall be dredged to a depth of 12 feet MLLW (NOS) with 2 feet of allowable overdepth; and, the depositional basin to depths of 10 feet and 20 feet MLLW with 2 feet of allowable overdepth at each re spective depth. The Contractor shall place the dredged material in the Government-furnished, unconfined, shoreline dredged material management area and construct finished elevations and grades in the placement area to the tolerances indicated and specified . Including estimated accretion to October 2007 and allowable overdepth, the project involves maintenance dredging approximately 3,900 cubic yards of material and new work dredging approximately 129,100 cubic yards of material. NAICS CODE 237990 applies to this procurement. No hard copies will be available. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS, https://www.fedted s.gov) database prior to download of plans and specifications. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract.
