- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; quotes are bei ng requested. Solicitation number W81K02- 07-R-0148 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 334510; the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3845; and the small business size standard is 500. Th is requirement is Unrestricted. The Pacific Regional Contracting Office at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii intends to award contract for the purchase of the following -- Item no. 0001: One (1) Prism Automated Blood Analyzer, Cat. No. LN 6A36-04. Pri ce to include one (1) year warranty, UPS, Laser Printer, Printer Cable, Printer Stand, Keyboard, Accessories, Training Positions (2 Positions), Onsite Integration and Installation, Operator Manual and System Maintenance, CD Rom Training, Validation and Imp lementation Guide. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: * A fully automated, high volume blood screening instrument to enhance the safety of the Blood Supply. An automated immunoassay analyzer designed to perform chemiluminescent immunoassay (ChLIA) technology. Abi lity to perform batch/continuous access and stat processing of specimens containing both large and small molecular weight analytes. * Instrument to consolidate numberous assay, multiple test instruments and manual steps into a single system, reducing the r isk of accidents, errors or tampering of results. Reduce the opportunity for human intervention. System designed to improve and automate CgMP monitoring and reporting throughout the testing process. PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS: * Instrument size: 67H x 91. 6 W x 33.1 D, 3 clearance on all sides, 8.75 x 13.6 Total space required. * Instrument weight: 1,660 LBS *Electrical: Dedicated line (single phase 200-240 VAC+1%,30 AMP) * UPS size:27.5 H x 10 W x 33 D * UPS weight: 365 LBS * No water hookup.
