Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service expects to have a need for shuttle transportation services between its offices at 4401 N. Fairfax Dr in Arlington, VA to the Main Dept of the Interior Building at 18th and C St. NW, Washington DC. The shuttle will need to operate during regular business hours from approximately 7:30 am to 5 pm leaving from either location about once an hour which will equal around 11 round trips. The capacity for the shuttle will need to be for at least 20 people and the vehicle itself will be required to comply with federal and state regulations for safety and environmental emissions. Note that preference will be given to green vehicles, i.e. cng/diesel, bio-diesel, etc. All drivers must have proper commercial licensing and the vendor will need to provide adequate insurance, a level which will be determined by the government. This service falls under the Service Contract Act and Wage Determination 05-3017 (Rev 2), dated 11/27/2006 applies. The formal solicitation for this announcement is expected to be published in the end of Sept, around the 21th.
