Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, WRD Reston, VA intends to make award on a sole source basis, to Envirotech, LLC., Chesapeake, VA to purchase continuous nitrate analyzers. The requested equipment is to provide analysis of nitrate at real-time stream gaging stations. As a result of market research we have concluded that Envirotech, LLC., is the only known vendor that provides an instrument (the MicroLab Nutrient Analyzer) that can automatically deliver water samples to a self contained instrument, analyze them and convert the numbers to digital data. There is no written solicitiation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about September 17, 2007 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334513. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No additional synopsis will be published. See note 1.
