Description
Description The 12th Contracting Squadron, Randolph AFB TX, has a requirement to provide Special Events Uniforms (SEU?s) for 650 Air Force Recruiting Services (AFRS) Field Recruiters. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. In accordance with FAR SubPart 19.1305 this requirement is a 100% HUBZone Set-aside. Delivery will be made within 90 days of contract award or NLT 31 Dec 07 to each location listed on the delivery schedule. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-19. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to the responsible offeror based on Technically Acceptable Low Price. The associated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 315299; size standard 500 employees. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, therefore the evaluation procedures at FAR 13.106-2 will be used. The following clauses and provisions are applicable to this solicitation and can be viewed through Internet Access at the AF FAR Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil: The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. The evaluation factors for this provision are as follows: (1) Conformance to the Specifications ? the proposal shall demonstrate the ability to provide the required supplies that meet the Item Description and Specifications. (2) Price (Price Proposal)-the firm-fixed price shall be based on open market rates, including any volume or spot discounts. (3) Past Performance ? information should include a list of two (2) of the most recent and relevant contracts which illustrate experience in providing uniforms, and should contain the following information: Contract Number, Description of Contract/Project Effort, Period of Performance, Contract Dollar Value, Name, Title, Current Address, Email Address and Telephone Number of Contracting Officer.
