- This is an ?END OF YEAR? requirement. Funds are not presently available for this requirement. No award will be made under this solicitation (combined synopsis/solicitation) until funds are available. If funds are not received by 30 September of the current year, this requirement will be cancelled. Additionally, the Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation (combined synopsis/ solicitation) at any time. Notification of cancellation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov/ <http://www.fbo.gov/>. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F2F3267247A001is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. This requirement is UNRESTRICTED. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238290 with a size standard of 500 employees; the SIC code is 1796. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts, shipping, and all other items necessary to provide the following items: A. A Site Visit is scheduled as follows: Date: 18 September 2007 Time: 9:00 A.M., Central Time Location: 1 Special Operations Contracting Squadron 125 Bennett St Building 90710 Hurlburt Field, FL 32544-5810 B. You are requested to submit your request for attendance to A1C Steven McConnaughy by email at steven.mcconnaughy@hurlburt.af.mil NO LATER THAN September 17, 4:00 p.m. (Central Standard Time), so that we can make arrangements for access to the installation. Line Item 0001: TWO LINES CONSISTING OF: 1ft 8in Gravity Discharge Sections (Frames to be zinc plated). Each section shall have 3.5in diameter rollers, with transition rollers on discharge end. (Quantity 4 Each). 30ft Dual Lane Power Conveyor?s (Two parallel lines of conveyor. Each 10ft pair needs to be controlled by a controller capable of controlling a minimum of two drives simultaneously). (Quantity 2 Each). 67ft 9in Intermediate Gravity Sections. (Quantity 4 Each). 7ft 11in Gravity Sections for Scale. (Quantity 4 Each). 2ft 5in Gravity Infeed Sections. (Quantity 4 Each). Line Item 0003: INSTALLATION: Dismantle and removal of existing conveyor equipment. Mechanical Installation of conveyor system. Run Power Source from existing panel to each line (3 x 30 amp circuits). Furnish and install three control boxes (1 for each line) for system operation. Each control box to include the required number of speed controllers, relays, etc. Outside of each box must have an ?on? button, ?off? button, ?on/override? button and emergency palm off button. Furnish & Install on/off button at the infeed end of each power line. Furnish & Install three photo reflective eyes to allow for flow and accumulation of 3 loads on the powered section of the conveyor. Installation Includes all necessary hardware, materials (i.e: conduit, wiring, fittings, etc). Installation shall be performed on one line at a time TBD by Air Force. Installation shall be performed during normal week-day hours. FOB: Destination for delivery to 1 SOLRS BLDG 90710, 125 Bennett St, HURLBURT FIELD, FL 32544-5708. Please include the lump sum amount including all shipping and handling charges for FOB Destination. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition and will remain in full force in any resultant award: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items. It is amended to read: Offeror shall submit signed and dated offer to 1 SOCONS/LGCC, Attn: A1C Steven McConnaughy, 350 Tully St, Hurlburt Field FL 32544-5810 by Friday, 21 September 2007 at or before 4:00pm Central Standard (CST). Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form and marked with solicitation number F2F3267247A001.
