- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items (FAR Part 12) to procure BMC Remedy ITSM 7.0 by the HQ USAINSCOM, Directorate of Contracting, ATTN: IAPC-DOC, 8825 Beulah Stre et, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-5246. The Govt intends to award a sole source contract (FAR Part 13.5) for the above products and services to the firm of Remedy, A BMC Software Company, 1030 West Maude Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94085-2810. Note: This firm is the s ole developer as well as sole manufacturer / distributor of this IAS product. The Proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no o ther supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. DELIVERY: 12 Months from Date of Contract Award. All responses received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Go vernment not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
