- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4620-07-Q-A070 is issued as a request for quote, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19. NAICS Code is 339920. Small business size standard is 500. This is a 100% small business set-aside. Unit Small Business Specialist is Ms. Marion Nelson (509) 247-4880; link to USAF Small Business, http://www.selltoairforce.org; link to SBA http://sba.gov: link to unit public information: http://www.fairchild.af.mil/lgcons. Contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, tools, tiles, adhesive, and equipment needed to remove existing fall zone material and replace with 5200 square feet of (3.25 tile thickness) (8 feet fall height) SofTile KL Plus or Equal safety surfacing tiles in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and SofTile Product Specifications. Contractor shall meet all guidelines established by the U.S. Consumer Products Commission (CPSC) and the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) for playground surfacing. Contractor is responsible for all site preparation ensuring the SofTile system or Equal is properly installed to allow for longevity of the product.
