- The U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY (USMA) is seeking qualified vendors capable of providing the following services: The Contractor shall: For the Fracturing of 3 (three) Wells perform as follows: 1. Pump Testing A 2hr pumping test will be completed before and after rehabilitation on each well. During the tests, the pumping water levels will be recorded manually and the discharge rate will be recorded in Gallons per Min. The discharge water will be routed to an acceptable drainage course. 2. Pump removal and Installation The owners pump and piping system will be removed and stored on site. A visual inspection Will be conducted and any visible defects will be reported to the owner. Once the rehabilitation Process is completed, the owners equipment will be reset. 3. Aqua Freed Process Each well will be treated with the Aqua Freed Liquid Carbon Dioxide Process. A packer will be used to seal the well and direct the injection of CO2 into the well and the Water bearing strata in the near well environment. The Aqua Freed Process will produce enough energy to loosen the encrustation that is attached to the surfaces in the well. The CO2 injection will be completed in one day. 4. Mechanical Development Upon completion of the Aqua Freed Process, the wells will be mechanically developed By the air-lift method. This task is intended to remove the encrustation that has been Dislodge from the Aqua Freed Process. Discharge water will be routed to an acceptable drainage course. Air-lift will be completed in 1 day, including set up and tear down. 5. Aqua Gard Preventative Maint. System Supply cost for equipping the round pond wells with a Aqua Gard Preventative Maintenance System. The contractor shall also be required to perform a Ground Water Feasibility Assessment of the Round Pond area located at USMA. The Contractor shall be required to start within 5 days after the award of contract and complete work within 5 days of start date. There will be a Contractor Manpower Reporting (CMR) requirement with the contract which is awarded. Interested parties are asked to provide (i) business name and geographical location; (ii) size of business (large, small) and identification under SBA socioeconomic criteria (e.g., 8[a], HUBZone, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, etc.), (iii) whether the vendor is registered in both the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations & Certifications Application (ORCA) websites; and (iv) whether vendor has previously supplied goods to or provided services at the U. S. Military Academy.
