- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation W911SDCLEANEQUIP is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-20 dated Septembe r 6, 2007. This will be a 100% set aside for a Small Business under NAICS Code 333319 with a size standard of 500 people. This will be listed as Contract Line Item Number (Clin) 1 for 35 each. These will be delivered FOB destination to the USMA, West Point , NY with a delivery date of 30 November 2007. The exact delivery location will be annotated on the subsequent award. The specifications are as follows: The suggested system will be a Kaivac Model Number 2150 or equivalent product designed for the same purpose and offering features that are comparable to the Kaivac 2150. This must be an industrial grade commercial cleaning system to protect the worker from unhealthy exposure to contaminated surfaces and disease transfer points. The system must be ergonomically friendly with a weight of approximately 160 pounds or les s to protect the worker from injuries associated with lifting and must be able to be transported up stairs with relative ease. Each unit must contain the following tools as a minimum: floor squeegee, vacuum wand, window squeegee, stiff bristle brush mount ed on a 5 foot pole. All attachments must be able to be securely attached to the cleaning system. Cleaning system shall consist of a 21 gallon water tank, 500 PSI indoor pressure washer tank, a 3 stage vacuum motor, 19 gallon vacuum tank, with a see thru f eature. Each system will contain a HEPA blow feature for cleaning and or drying of wet surfaces. Each unit will include a hose that is 33 feet in length to be used in conjunction with the HEPA feature. A dump drain hose to drain into drains and or toilet s. Each unit will have an electrical cord, 75 feet in length, with GFCI to allow for easy maneuverability in the latrines and or restrooms. Each cleaning unit will have both a vacuum and pressure spray line that is at least 75 feet in length. The cleaning unit will have a fill hose to fit multi shaped faucets. The tires shall be flat free, non marking pneumatic tires The following clauses and or provisions are applicable to this award, 52.212-1 , Instructions to Offerors, 52.212-2 , Evaluations Commercial Items, An award will be made to the offeror whose offer conforms to the prescribed specifications is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable, 52.212-3 Offer or Representations and CertificationsCommercial Items , this must be completed and returned with offer.
