- The General Services Administration seeks to lease office space consisting of approximately 4,945 rentable square feet within the following delineated area: North: Johnson Street / South College Road / West Pinhook Road / Surrey Street; South: Verot School Road; East: Evangeline Highway (U.S. 90 East) West: Ambassador Caffrey Parkway (LA 3073). Buildings in the Central Business District (CBD) of Lafayette, Louisiana will also be accepted. The space should yield 4,300 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet, preferably NOT located on the first or top floor. Space should be contiguous on one floor and all cleaning must be done during normal working hours. The proposed lease is for 10 years with 5 years firm, and should be fully serviced, including all services supplies, utilities, and tenant improvements. GSA requires three (3) structured parking spaces. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than January 15, 2009. The offered space must meet GSA Life and Fire Safety Standards and the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ABAAS). The Government reserves the right to approve the design and will require its design excellence standards be achieved. Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing no later than October 2, 2007 and should include the following information: street address and building name, square footage offered, name, address and phone number of individual to be contacted; and evidence of authority to represent the owner if other than legal owner.
