- The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division of Transportation intends to award a sole source acquisition, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(2) (A) to: Physical Address: The Transportation Research Board (TRB), National Research Council (NRC) National Academy of Sciences 500 Fifth Street, NW Washington, DC 20001 The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division of Transportation (BIADOT) will provide funds for the sponsorship of the Transportation Research Board, a division of the National Research Council. The TRB will provide advice regarding transportation policy and programs, access to the research process, and research publications. This procurement requires the ability to coordinate with Federal agencies, State entities, the scientific community, and academia. The TRB will facilitate communication and the sharing of information on transportation practice and policy. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within five days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No formal solicitation shall be issued.
