Reference Numbered Note 22. It is the intent to award a purchase order no later than 30 September 2007. Smiths Detection, Inc., TravelIR II HazMat Chemical Identifier, PN 022-1035. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), the Contracting Officer has de termined to solicit from a single source based on a requirement of interoperability of systems used by the Weapons of Mass Destruction/Civil Support Team. The unit utilizes multiple Smiths Detection, Inc. systems that need to work together. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (18-SEP-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
