- MOD TO SYNOPSIS RE: FAITH BASED AND COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATIONS - SEE CHANGE BELOW IN CAPS: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, plans to issue IFB-SEA-0004 for the construction of approimately 7600 linear feet of perimeter fencing to include gates, barbed tape, rear gate salleyport and intrusion detection system which consist of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials for the complete construction located at the Federal Correctional Institution in Seagoville, Texas. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation will be available on or about July 30, 2007, with an anticipated bid opening date of August 30, 2007. The soliciation will be distributed soley through the General Services Adminsitrations Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Faith Based and Community Based Organizations CAN submit offers/BIDS/QUOTATIONS equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
