- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number is HSBP1107R1495 and is issued to request proposals. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition FAC 05-18. the associated American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 516110 with a small business size standard of 500 employees This requirement is a small business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit proposals. Customs and Border Protection - DHS requires a web based subscription service to retrieve world wide import/export data. This requirement is for official Import and Export Trade Statistics of at least 65-70 of the major trading countries in the world. The published data must be updated monthly to maintain the most current information available on countries exporting and importing. Products imported/exported must be categorized by the Harmonized Tariff Schedules. Data must be easily searched and retrieved. The subscription is to include access for 50 individual CBP users; be available 24/7 for online services except during normal maintenance; provide access to the most current information available; provide the ability to download data and reports; searches must be secure; provide programming assistance when required to extract data for reporting efforts and provide training on how to utilized the database subscription. Service Period Service PRICE Base Year Period 12 Month Subscription Award to end of 12th Month Option Year One 12 Month Subscription Option Year Two 12 Month Subscription Option Year Three 12 Month Subscription Total Award will be based upon best value. Technical will be more significant than price. Offeror to provide information to support capability statements. CBP may request to test the website to ensure that database has the capability required to support CBP to retrieve required data. CCR Requirement: Company must be registered on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award can be made. To register, one can do so at http://www.ccr.gov. The following FAR clauses in paragraph (b) of FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items, will apply: 52.222-21, 52,222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 5 2.222-37, 52.222-37, 52.225-13, 52.232-34.
