Description
The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, APHIS, Plant Protection and Quarantine, PPQ, Idaho Falls, Idaho, intends to purchase one new portable restroom trailer 24 feet by eight feet six inches, for the Potato Cyst Nematode survey/laboratory. A fixed-price purchase order will result. F.O.B. destination. QUOTATIONS ARE DUE SEPTEMBER 25, 2007, by 10:00 a.m. local time. Submit written or faxed quotation to Purchasing Section, at (612) 370-2136 Attention Joanne Mann or emailed to Joanne.Mann@aphis.usda.gov . Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. NUMBER ________________. All vendors offering a quote must have a current and active registration in the Central Contractor Registration. The USDA PPQ intends to purchase one new portable restroom trailer 24 feet by eight feet six inches for the Potato Cyst Nematode survey/laboratory. SPECIFICATIONS: The portable restroom shall consist of two sides, one for women and one for men. The women?s side shall have: Five toilets with partitions; two sinks with vanity and mirror; two entry exit doors; stairs. The men?s side shall have: Two toilets with partitions; one stainless steel urinal; two sinks in vanity with mirror; two entry exit doors; stairs. The two wall hung porcelain urinals with stainless steel blinds and water saving flush valves in lieu of a trough; One six gallon electric water heater with associated hardware, electrical and plumbing; One approximately 1,000 gallon waste tank; Winterizing holding tank to minus 20 degrees F.; Air conditioning with heat - propane; Spare tire mounted in concealed storage rack; 300 gallon on board fresh water system consisting of a pump, bladder tank, pressure switch, installed in a locking enclosure on the rear platform; Seamless white FRP exterior siding, UV rated; Two recessed electric wall heaters with individual electrical connections; Heavy duty black vinyl skirting, with thumb snaps. The unit shall meet the ADA compliance requirement.
