Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F3ZT897262A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-20 and Defense DCN 20070913. This acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside; The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is J061. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7699. The business size standard is 6,500,000. This request for quotation consists of the following service: Item 0001: Qty 2 EA, Non-personal services to provide all labor, tools, parts, materials, and facilities necessary to refurbish Synchronous AC generators to serviceable condition in accordance with manufacturers specifications. Contractor shall provide transportation of generator weighing approximately 6000 lbs each to and from 730 E Street, Bldg 1205 Travis AFB, CA 94535. Manufacturer: Marathon Electric 480/277VAC, 3 Phase, 1200KW, .8PF 1800RPM, 180VDC field voltage, 5.0 field amps. Serial Numbers: SL-19-52512-10/28 and SL-19-52503-1. Contractor shall; 1. Test windings IAW manufacturers specifications and electrical apparatus services association EASA standards. 2. Disassemble, inspect, clean rotor, stator and exciter assembly. 3. Clean, vacuum pressure impregnate VPI, bake rotor stator and exciter winding assembly. 4. Dynamic balance rotor assembly and replace bearing using OEM part number A-9705R-100 (Government furnished). 5. High potential test AC and DC windings. 6. Surge test AC windings. 7. Replace existing rear junction box. 8. Provide and install circuit breaker inside new junction box. Size the new circuit breaker to provide proper protection for the 1200-kW rated at 480/277 VAC alternator. 9. Terminate generator leads directly to new circuit breaker. 10. Clean, prep, and primer paint external generators parts. 11. Furnish final results of all electrical and mechanical tests to end user. Contractors are asked to submit their delivery terms after receipt of order and tax identification number with their proposal. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition.
