- Description
- This contract is for the spot reconstruction of the Rattlesnake, North and South ATV Trails, four bridge replacements with rock fords, one new rock ford construction and fifty miles of hazard tree removal each side of the Rattlesnake and North Bethel ATV Trails. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies and perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with specifications and provisions of the contract. The project is located within the boundaries of the De Soto Ranger District, Wayne County, Mississippi. This is a Request for Proposals which will result in a firm-fixed price contract. This project is open to both large and small businesses. Award will be made based on the best value to the government and can be made on the initial offer. The government's estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000. The successful offeror will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price prior to beginning construction. The solicitation and related documents will be available for download at http://fbo.gov/ on or about July 31, 2007. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out.
